Manchester City has decided to sign Moroccan star Azzedine Ounahi in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Spanish outlet “Fichajes,” the English club is set to purchase his contract following a recommendation from manager Pep Guardiola, who aims to replace the expected departure of Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva. The report further highlights that City’s strong relationship with Girona, which has facilitated player exchanges in the past, will ease the transfer process, with Girona reportedly open to the deal. The potential move has garnered significant attention in the international sports media, as it would see Ounahi, one of the most prominent attacking midfielders in La Liga, join the Premier League champions. Ounahi’s current contract with Girona runs until the summer of 2030, following his transfer from Olympique Marseille last summer.
